1 Samuel 8:1-5
In this selection Samuel is old and his sons are not holy like him.The people of Israel knew he was getting older so they wanted someone to lead them.They asked him to appoint a king to rule them like other nations.Yes sometimes when im really hungry I am tempted to take a little more food than I am supposed to.Or when my mother makes me mad I am tempted to be rebellious.

Thurs.
1 Samuel 3:1-21
Samuel was sleeping and he heard someone call his name.He went to his father and said u called me?And his father told him no go back to sleep.This happened several times until finally his father knew God was talking to him ,so he said answer him if he calls you again . So he answered him and God talked to him. When I read God's word I expect his word to apli to my life.

In this story a man named Elkanah he had to wives, Hannah and Peninnah. Peninnah had children but the other wife did not have any. She was so sad and wanted children but could not conceive.She was sad and weep and didn't eat. Elkanah loved her every much and did not like seeing her sad.Hannah prayed to God earnestly for children.God answered her prays had she had a baby!Lately I promised God that I would be more respectful of my mother and I have.

Ruth 4:1-22
Boaz went to the city gate and got the other redeemer to sit and talk with him. At first he said he would but changed his mind .There were witnesses so it was final Boaz would marry Ruth. Because you never know what will happen.And God always does so its best to listen to God.

But only whenever he had finished eating.Then she would lay by him and uncover his feet and lay next to them.Around midnight he woke to find her and told her if the other redeemer did not want her he would marry her.He sent her home with six cups of barely before the sun rose.Once I wanted to go to the mall but my mom wouldn't let me.I was mad but when I got home my papa was there !

Ruth 1:1-22
This story is about how women named who had a husband and to sons that were married.They died though and she was left with two daughters in law.Finally she told them to go back to there people and be married again.She went with her and when they got back to Bethlehem she told people to call her Mara because misfortune was upon her life.They got back in time for the barley harvest.

Judges 16:22-31
Samson had been captured by the Philistines and they were planning to sacrifice him to their god Dagon . They chained him to pillars .All of the important philistines were there thousands of them.Samson prayed to God to ask him for him to return his strength so he could get revenge on the philistines. God gave it to him and with it Samson knocked down the pillars and killed all of them in the building.
