Week 8
Wed.
Job 1:1-22
Job was a very wealthy man.He had a huge flock and was living large. And to top things off he loved and feared the Lord. One day satan went to God  saying Job is only righteous because he is rich in wealth. So the Lord said you may do as you want to his wealth ,but to him do not lay a finger. Later on Job's flocks, children, and many of his servants were destroyed.Job tore his robes and cried out to the Lord, but did not sin against him. Whenever something wrong happens I begin to question if God cares.

At the banquet the king again ask" what is it you want"?"Anything up to half the kingdom will be given to you".She asked him "spare my life and my people's also".Th king asked "who is it that will do such a thing"? Esther answered "Hamon". Then the king ordered Hamon to be impaled on the same pole that was meant for Mordecai. It is helpful to remember that God is control of the world when times are bad.

Week 8
Mon.
Esther 5:1-14
Queen Esther went before the king uncalled which could have meant death ,but the Lord had favor upon her and did not let her die. She went before him and asked him and Hamon to a banquet to discuss her what she wanted.Hamon was still sore toward Mordecai the Jew and saw very angry about the whole matter. He discussed this matter with his friends .His friends suggested that he set up a pole to impale  Mordecai with.Hamon thought this a great idea and was no longer troubled  for he would ask the king about the matter later. The last time I did something scary for the Lord was when I asked a find if she was a Christian.
